Application Deadlines

2026 Training Contracts – Applications should be submitted between 5 October 2023 and midnight on 3 June 2024.

All applications will be viewed by a member of the Graduate Recruitment Panel once the deadline has passed. This means that if you submit an application it will be taken into consideration in line with all other applications.

What we look for

We welcome applications from both law and non-law students. Amongst other things, we look for candidates with a strong academic background (a minimum of 320 UCAS points (old system) or 128 UCAS points (new system)). When reviewing your application we also consider work experience (both legal and non-legal), sporting and other extra-curricular achievements and any positions of responsibility held. We also like to find out a little bit about you and your personality and what has inspired you to choose a career in law.

We do not use any automatic filtering systems and all applications are individually viewed by a member of the graduate recruitment panel.

The Application Process

Vacation Scheme

Once the deadline has passed, all applications will be reviewed by the graduate recruitment panel. Candidates will then be shortlisted and invited to attend an assessment day. Please note that there is only one stage to this process and that candidates will be advised as to what to expect prior to attending one of the assessment days.

Training Contracts

Once the deadline has passed, all applications will be reviewed by the graduate recruitment panel. Candidates will then be shortlisted and invited to attend an assessment day and if you are successful at this stage, you will be invited back for a second round interview. Please note that both the assessment days and second round interviews will take place in July and August and candidates will be advised as to what to expect prior to attending them.

"Everyone at the firm is very approachable and by being confident, approaching people for work and getting involved in the social life really helped me to get the most out my training contract."
