Mairead Hannon is a Chartered Legal Executive in the Commercial Real Estate team, focusing predominantly on commercial residential property transactions.

She has extensive experience acting for both private developers and social housing providers on the sale of development land, i.e. plot sales including transfers of part, leases and shared ownership leases including the creation of the sales package and associated infrastructure agreements such as substation leases and road agreements. Mairead also has experience in submitting rights of light applications both using the standard and emergency procedures.

Mairead has specialist expertise in advising landlords and tenants in respect of voluntary and statutory lease extensions, the right of first refusal and collective enfranchisement and also acting for social housing providers in respect of right to acquire and preserved right to buy leases.

Mairead also has experience of dealing with commercial lettings and associated transactions at some of the UK’s prime/major shopping centres.
